Here are 5 fun facts about site lines Architecture:

1. A Cabin, Egg Yolk and a Dream
Their first “real” project was born lakeside in Invermere — and almost didn’t happen. After a long evening of sketching with nothing to show, a last-minute doodle over eggs and coffee (literally — the sketch was stained with both) became the spark that landed them the job. The client took one look and said, “This is exactly what we were thinking… you guys are amazing!” Sometimes, caffeine and pressure are the perfect combo.

2. From Mountain Roots to Main Street
They got their start designing mountain homes in Southeastern BC, and while their work has grown to include sports arenas, care homes and commercial buildings across British Columbia, their inspiration is still grounded in BC’s natural beauty. And Fort Langley? It’s been their home since 1999.

3. Party Like an Architect
Twice a year, they hit pause and throw epic team days called Hullabaloo (summer) and Extravaganza (winter). Past adventures include bobsledding in Whistler, ropes courses on Grouse, and waterfall hikes on Vancouver Island—all capped off with a big family-style dinner (sometimes sushi-making, sometimes fancy dining… always delicious).

4. The Power Trio
Their founding principal architect, Gord Klassen, recently brought on two new partners as part of their succession plan. Fun fact: Jeff and Jordan, the new partners, grew up as childhood friends on the same cul-de-sac in Walnut Grove. Now they co-lead site Llnes— Jeff heads architecture, and Jordan leads interior design.

5. Shaping Fort Langley — Literally
They’re proud to have had a hand in designing some of the town’s standout buildings—like Reid Block, Lily Terrace, salishan Place by the River, and the Fort Langley Professional Building. Being part of this community for over 25 years means they’re not just designing spaces—they’re designing the story of the town itself.

“It’s a natural fit — we love celebrating creativity, community and good vibes. Supporting the Festival is our way of saying thanks to the town that’s shaped us for over two decades.”
