FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. WHAT IS THE FORT LANGLEY JAZZ & ARTS FESTIVAL?

A. The Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival is an exciting celebration of music, art, and culture set in a unique and charming historic location. Now entering its 9th year in 2026, the festival features world-class music, interactive art activities, and cultural demonstrations that engage and inspire audiences of all ages.

It is a four-day hybrid festival from July 23 – 26, 2026 that combines free community programming with ticketed headline concerts. The festival includes two full days of free music, art, and cultural activities throughout the Village of Fort Langley (July 25 and 26), with a Mardi Gras Strolling Parade, two outdoor stages, an Arts & Culture Zone, and strolling performers that bring the streets to life.

In addition to the free daytime programming, the festival presents ticketed headline events over all four days, including a Thursday matinee Big Band jazz concert, a Thursday evening R&B show, the two-night Cool Blues Show, and a Gospel Jazz Alternative Experience that closes the festival on a high note.

A. Nestled along the banks of the Fraser River, the festival takes place in the village of Fort Langley, a charming historic community with a unique small-town feel. Fort Langley is located about 40 minutes from Vancouver by car.

The festival takes place across several venues in and around the village. The free daytime festival is located in the heart of Fort Langley, with the Main Stage in front of the historic Fort Langley Community Hall, the Youth Stage at the Historic CN Station, and the Art & Culture Zone along Glover Road, Mary Avenue, and Church Street.

Additional ticketed events are held at nearby venues: the Thursday Big Band Concert takes place inside the Fort Langley Community Hall ballroom, the Cool Blues Show is held at Fort Langley Community Park a few blocks from the village centre, and the Saturday evening concert is hosted at the Chief Sepass Theatre.
