The Odlum Brown Fort Langley Jazz & Blues Festival takes place July 20-23 in the historic village of Fort Langley.

With four outdoor stages showcasing 30 free performances, there is a wide variety of music options, including Argentine pianist Gabriel Palatchi and his trio, indie rockers Apollo Suns and Juno-winning Indigenous musician Caleigh Cardinal.

The Cool Blues Show, meanwhile, features a deep lineup of globally known acts, such as Texas blues player Ruthie Foster, Crystal Shawanda and Vancouver Island guitar slinger David Gogo and his band.

Along with the live performances, the festival also features family events, such as the children’s play zones and Indigenous Art & Cultural exhibition, as well as a range of food choices. One very popular feature of the festival is the various art installations placed around the neighbourhood.

With everything in easy walking range, it makes for a great day at the Fort.
