ABOUT THE BAND
When cousins Maya Rae & Benjamin Millman began busking in 2012, they had no idea their sun-kissed outdoor jams and late night songwriting sessions would blossom into the feel good Soul-Pop/R&B duo “maya & ben”. The pair's musical collaboration emanates pure, unadulterated, love and joy. Inspired by artists such as Jacob Collier, Lawrence and Stevie Wonder, their music sounds of sunshine, ocean swims and double scoops.
In November 2021, they performed to 1500 people while opening for Lawrence The Band at Royale in Boston, MA. Their latest single "tip of my tongue" released on all streaming platforms on March 11th, 2022. The pair continue to demonstrate an impressive ability to craft soulful grooves and infectious harmonies with each new track they release.
